17 Jan:  A sharp eyed DSO on patrol this afternoon spotted two maritime flares washed up on the beach at Studland. To ensure peoples safety these were safely collected by the patrol for disposal.

17 Jan:  Just after 11am the team were called to a climber fallen at Anvil Point. Rescue 106 was on scene lifting the male who had fallen about 15ft, the team carried out the usual crowd control and took the details once the helicopter had completed the lift.

17 Jan:  An early start for the IRT this morning when a drunk male decided to have a swim in the bay. Concerned friends called the Police and Coastguard, who spent sometime looking for the male who finally was found rather cold and wet at home.

01 Jan:  As the team gathered for their New Year's breakfast, Portland MRCC requested the team to attend Studland to meet the EOD team after a local fishing boat found a possible shell in their nets. The Coastguard stood by on the busy beach whilst the EOD team headed out to the fishing boat, unfortunately when they arrived the device had fallen out the net and despite a search could not be located.
