136 incidents in 2010 IRT: Initial Response Team (minimum of 2 team members) BURT: Back Up Response Team (a full team callout) Minor Incident: A non recordable incident Page: 11 of 34 02 Aug:  Having promoted sea safety during the carnival swim the team spotted a craft at the northern end of the bay who appeared in trouble. Having monitored if for sometime and then with the assistance of the crew of the lifeboat it was confirmed all was well Tasked:  IRT + Swanage Lifeboat crew at the boat house Team:  N. Field, G. Kitching 02 Aug:  During tonights Carnival swim the accident prevention team were approached by a swimmer who required 1st aid to a cut foot.    Minor Incident Team:  Not required 02 Aug:  A report of dangerous jet ski in Studland had the IRT tasked this afternoon. On arrival the craft was monitored until they returned into Poole Harbour, details will be passed to Dorset Police. Tasked:  IRT Team:  A. Rockett, T. Simmons 01 Aug:  The IRT were tasked to Ulwell after a 999 call came in saying a mountain bike rider had come off their bike. Rescue 106 were 1st on scene having located the rider on the side of Godlingston Hill. The rider had a serious head injury and required urgent treatment in hospital so was airlifted quickly to Poole Hospital. A local farmer also assisted with the transport of the aircrew.
