136 incidents in 2010 IRT: Initial Response Team (minimum of 2 team members) BURT: Back Up Response Team (a full team callout) Minor Incident: A non recordable incident Page: 15 of 34 25 Jul:  The IRT were tasked at 19.42 after numerous 999 calls from the public about dangerous jet skis close to the beach. Tasked:  IRT + Dorset Police Team:  I. Brown, R. Curtis 25 Jul:  The IRT were tasked at 12.29 to Swanage Pier to meet a dive boat after two divers were airlifted to Poole hospital. Tasked:  IRT + R106 Team:  T. Thompson, R. Curtis 24 Jul:  A local boat owner approached the Station Officer who was out for a walk reporting a large motor cruiser drifting in the moorings. Having monitored it for a short time it appeared to be getting close to other boats so Portland Coastguard requested the launch of Swanage ILB. The crew soon arrived and found the boat empty but resolved the issue by putting more anchor chain out and then locating a mobile phone on board and contacted the owner. The owner soon arrived having been ashore at a local pub. Tasked:  IRT + Swanage ILB Team:  I. Brown, B. Craker 24 Jul:  Whilst dealing with the broken ankle a member of the public approached the team requesting assistance after a male got stung in the water.
