Just as the Accident Prevention Team were finishing at Studland a member of the public reported a fire in the dunes. The fire had been started by a BBQ and the team quickly got to work calling for assistance and putting the fire out with sand and water brought to the scene by staff of a nearby resturant. Thankfully with the help of the public and without anyone being put in danger the fire was put out just as the fire service turned up. Photos of the incident will appear on the blog.

Swanage Lifeboat had towed in a yacht with a broken rudder, the IRT were tasked to the boat park to meet the skipper of the yacht, however as he was not planning to come ashore the IRT was stood down.

Whilst dealing with the diver, information was taken from a couple of dive boat skippers regarding a yacht which had come very close to divers in the water despite being warned, details were passed to the Operations Room for further action.

The IRT were tasked to Swanage pier to meet a local dive boat after a diver caught his finger between a rope and the boat. The diver was checked by the ambulance who confirmed heavy bruising
