136 incidents in 2010 IRT: Initial Response Team (minimum of 2 team members) BURT: Back Up Response Team (a full team callout) Minor Incident: A non recordable incident Page: 5 of 34 22 Aug:  The IRT were tasked at 10.50pm in horrendous weather conditions after two walkers were reported overdue from a walk to Durlston. On arrival at the station the walkers had called in to say they were safe however due to the weather the IRT went to check they didn’t require a medical treatment. Having checked them the IRT returned to station. Tasked:  IRT Team:  I. Brown, G. Kitching 21 Aug:  The IRT were tasked to Swanage boat park to meet a local fishing vessel who had located the missing jet ski. With the Dorset Police RIB visiting the bay, they assisted with returning the jet ski back to the owner. Tasked:  IRT + Dorset Police Marine Section Team:  I. Brown, D. Bowden 21 Aug:  The IRT were tasked to Anvil Point after a jet ski took on water. Having returned to Swanage with a friend to find a tow, the craft was then lost in heavy seas and weather. Despite searching the lost jet ski appeared to have disappeared and with the weather getting worse the ILB out on training was diverted to escort the searching pair back to Swanage. Tasked:  IRT + Swanage ILB Team:  I. Brown, D. Bowden 21 Aug:  The IRT were tasked by Portland Coastguard at 11.30 to Swanage Sailing Club after a competitor fell from his boat injuring his back.
