136 incidents in 2010 IRT: Initial Response Team (minimum of 2 team members) BURT: Back Up Response Team (a full team callout) Minor Incident: A non recordable incident Page: 6 of 34 17 Aug:  Swanage IRT along with Poole Lifeboats were tasked to a serious incident in Studland. Whilst making a sharp turn in a speed boat the two on board were thrown overboard and without a killcord the boat continued to race around Studland until the fuel ran out. The lifeboat recovered one person whilst the IRT the other. Tasked:  IRT + Poole Lifeboats Team:  A. Rockett, E. Hudson 16 Aug:  The IRT were tasked to Dancing Ledge to assist the ambulance service with a lady suffering from heat exhaustion. Tasked:  IRT + South Western Ambulance Team:  A. Rockett, T. Thompson, E. Hudson 16 Aug:  The IRT were tasked to monitor a 21ft cabin boat broken down off Old Harry Rocks. The vessel was taken in tow to Poole. Tasked:  IRT Team:  T. Thompson, E. Hudson 15 Aug:  A lost sunseeker had the IRT and Lifeboat out again this evening off Old Harry. The vessel had broken down and had children on board so the lifeboat took the vessel in tow. Tasked:  IRT + Swanage Lifeboat Team:  N. Field, G.
