26 Dec:  At 12.15, Dorset Police asked for assistance with cordoning off part of Studland beach after two World War 2 rockets were found in the dunes. An Army Bomb disposal team came and confirmed the two plus a further item found whilst waiting for the team were no longer a danger.

04 Dec:  Dorset Police requested Coastguard assistance tonight at 23.00 to assist in the search of a missing 19 year old female. Both Swanage and St Albans Coastguard Teams along with the East Dorset Sector Manager searched an area South of Langton Matravers in poor weather conditions. Despite searching for over 3 hours along with DorSar and Police Officers, the female remains missing.

17 Nov:  At 13.40, Portland Coastguard received a request from Dorset Police for assistance in searching Ballard Down for a male suffering from exhaustion. Due to the extreme weather conditions at the time, The full team were paged along with the Rescue Helicopter Victor Alpha, which commenced a search for the male reported to be left at the top of the hill whilst his friend went for help. Having searched for over an hour the search was widened and the male was located having made his own way off the hill at The Bankes Arms in Studland.

11 Nov:  Just before 13.00 today, Portland RCC requested the IRT attend Peveril Point to observe a group of canoeists who appeared in difficulties in the tide race. Swanage ILB was launched and soon on scene to discover one of the canoeists feeling ill, he was quickly recovered into the boat and brought ashore to be treated by Paramedics. The IRT remained on scene to monitor the others return to shore.
